Down Over Bed and Breakfast offers rooms to Veterans

The Down Over Bed & Breakfast in Arrow Rock is participating with the national event, B&B for Veterans by donating a room to a veteran for the night of Wednesday, November 10th.   Call to check for availability.  Check this website for details - B&B for Vets.

August Already!

June and July have flown by!  The Lyceum Theatre has been great!   Their 50th Anniversary Celebration was a great event.

The Big Muddy

Larry walked to the river on Monday, May 31st and took this picture of the Missouri River.
He said the trail was muddy in some places, but as always, worth the effort!

Quilt Camp 2010

This year's quilt camp was enjoyed by 28 women coming from Missouri, Arizona, Illinois, Iowa, Florida, and even Germany! We enjoyed making new friends and greeting "old" friends, in addition to the sewing and quilt-making. We all look forward to next year!  http://www.arrowrockquiltcamp.com/

Big Spring at State Park and Tulip Tree

The Big Spring area is especially beautiful this spring. Above, the tulip tree in front of the Down Over Bed and Breakfast has bloomed profusely.
